Barbara Daly
Biography
Barbara Daly brings a wealth of experience in nonprofit resource development to Orchestra Nova after eighteen years of experience with fundraising, corporation development and promotional activities for San Diego arts organizations, including the San Diego Symphony where she initiated the popular Partner with a Player program as its inaugural campaign director, the San Diego Repertory Theatre, Malashock Dance, KPBS-FM, Lamb’s Player’s Theatre and the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center Theatre.
Barbara’s love for San Diego is exemplified in her volunteer efforts as a member of the San Diego Padres Ballpark Development executive committee, the University Club board of directors, the San diego Performing Arts League board, the San Diego Arts and Culture Commission grants review panel, the Super Bowl XXXVII host committee and the San diego State University BRIDGES executive committee. She also served on the National Conflict Resolution Center board.
Barbara graduated from San Diego State University with a B.A. in Liberal Studies. She also attended the University of Wisconsin.
Barbara and her husband Richard Daly, M.D. have a home in downtown San Diego.
