Samuel Simon Dychter, M.D. Biography Dr. Samuel Simon Dychter is currently senior medical director at Halozyme Therapeutics in San Diego . With over eleven years of extensive experience in international clinical drug development his passion for international health is evident. He is also a member of the International Community Foundations' Board of Governors as a physician and biopharmaceutical professional. He trained as a general medical practitioner and transitioned into the pharmaceutical industry, where he has worked in the development of medicines in oncology, immunology, and infectious diseases. He received his university and medical training at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and completed his medical clerkships at the Mexican Institute for Social Security (IMSS) in Mexico City . Dr. Dychter was elected president of Orchestra Nova's board of directors at the beginning of the 2010-2011 season.
