Lynne-Marie’s parents introduced her to music. Both of her parents were music teachers, and Lynne-Marie comments that "it wasn't an option in my family". This tradition continues as Lynne-Marie passes on the legacy of music to her two children half-jokingly stating that, "it is not an option for them either.” But all joking aside, music is a powerful bond that Lynne-Marie shares with her parents and now with her children. Family is an essential component of who Lynne-Marie is, as is humor which is evident when she replied that she performs because "it’s a nice break from doing laundy.”
