Richard Gordon
Trombone, Principal
“Anyone who knows the personalities that end up matching with certain instruments knows that every trombone player is truly unique.  We play hard, both on stage and off.  One thing that I try to do is keep it 'light' in the brass section," comments Richard.  Whether entertaining the other musicians with his humor or performing with the Chamber Orchestra or other local ensembles, Richard has a wonderful way of sharing his gifts with others – on and off the stage.  Richard spends his free moments with his family, his church and friends. He can often be found restoring his 1939 home, fixing his car, or helping neighbors and friends with other various projects.
