John Lorge
French Horn, Principal

John Lorge is a performer, composer, and teacher.  As a soloist with Orchestra Nova in 2005, John’s ringing tone was called “bold" and “burnished" by the Union Tribune.  He has recorded for several pop artists including Barry Manilow, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Harry Connick Jr. and Christina Aguilera.  He frequently plays for TV and Motion Picture recording sessions including: The Siege, She’s So Lovely, The Negotiator, and Collateral Damage.  With this well rounded resume John still finds time to raise chickens, roosters and lop-eared rabbits.
