Our Musicians

Alex Palamidis
Violin, Concert Master

Alex grew up in Istanbul with Greek and Russian parents who introduced him to the world of music. As early as age four, Alex's parents took him to concerts almost every weekend, and his love of music continued on to college where he studied music, but also studied engineering. Yet, his true love (music) won the battle for his mind when, in the end, Alex chose to experience life as a performer. Today, he performs with an intellect and passion that delights audience members and is an inspiration to his fellow musicians as the Orchestra's concertmaster.

Alex explains why he performs, "It is an outlet for me to express myself with the thing I love the most, music! Every time I get a chance to perform and express myself in a way that evokes positive emotions in even one person, I feel blessed and happy."
