Jeffrey Zehngut
Violin

Violinist Jeffrey Zehngut is from State College, Pennsylvania, where he grew up playing the violin with his brother and two sisters. Jeff moved to San Diego in 2005 and his brother Gareth followed in 2008, both to become members of the San Diego Symphony.

"I can't remember a time when music was not a part of my life. Most of my favorite memories are from my experiences in music. It was natural to pursue a career with the violin."

Jeff enjoys playing with Orchestra Nova because of the natural spirit and love that each member brings to the music. "Every performance has special energy that you can feel in the hall. Every performer has a unique story and brings their own individual experiences to add to the group. The camaraderie and excitement I feel as part of Orchestra Nova is the reason I went into music."
